Available immediately, Wadia has introduced the series v3.0 Upgrade for owners of the Wadia 27ix Decoding Computer. A solid affirmation of the advantages of Wadia's modular based architecture the series v3.0 Upgrade requires only the replacement of one PC board. The new DSP circuit board features a higher capacity memory IC, this programmable logic chip integrates high-performance and user configurable blocks of EPROM facilitating line selection for multiple algorithms. The series v3.0 Upgrade adds impressive new features and, most importantly, enhanced sonic performance. Here is a description of the new technology included with the series v3.0 Upgrade for the Wadia 27ix Decoding Computer:

DigiMaster Up-sampling System with v3.0 Software
The Wadia 27ix v3.0 Decoding Computer uses the newest version of our patented filtering system with true 24-bit processing. Executed in DSP, the all new series v3.0 software also features user-selectable digital algorithms allowing optimization of sonic performance based on system matching and personal musical priorities. The Wadia 27ix v3.0 software includes the latest version of Wadia's classic DigiMaster™ time-domain interpolation filter which is optimized to preserve subtle time and phase information critical to music reproduction. Three selectable algorithms are part of a processing system that upsamples digital information to 2.8224 MHz (DAC sample rate), while differing in time and frequency domain characteristics.

The performance of the Wadia 27ix v3.0 establishes a new standard for Digital to Analog converters. Based on advanced DSP processing, the Wadia 27ix v3.0 truly enables a level of system synergy beyond that of any other Decoding Computer in the marketplace.
