When you add the digital inputs to your Wadia CD player, it is like having a digital pre-amp or DAC with a built-in high performance Clocklinked CD transport.  The 381i and S7i are the digital hubs to your music collection.  The USB input allows you to connect your PC directly creating a music server with a world class DAC.
