The Special Edition (se) Upgrade for the Wadia 270 CD Transport 

 
Available immediately, Wadia has introduced the se Upgrade for owners of the original Wadia 270 CD Transport.

  The Special Edition (se) Upgrade for the Wadia 270 CD Transport - features a new and improved mechanism that embodies markedly improved engineering precision on all surfaces, including the surface onto which the disk is pressed. The se Upgraded Wadia 270 CD Transport uses a newly-designed aluminum and brass hybrid turntable that provides significant sound reduction during disk rotation. The turntable has been stained green to absorb undesired diffused reflections.

To provide robust support for this newly developed turntable, the 270se uses a composite bridge composed of machined aluminum with a maximum thickness of 20 mm, and carbon-tool steel with a thickness of 5 mm.

A software update completes the improvements to the Wadia 270 CD Transport ensuring that an upgraded unit remains identical in every way to a newly purchased Special Edition Wadia 270se CD Transport.
